Organization Station!
I've had a lot of requests for my bin labels so here they are. You can click on the pictures to download them. The ones pictured above are for my smaller math storage bins and containers there are about three pages of them. I cut them out and laminate them on my Scotch Laminator (another one of my favorite things that I forgot to mention in my post). Wal-mart sells them for about $25 and then I buy the thick laminating sheets from Sams really cheap. Sams is about half the price of ... continue reading...
Walruses, Literacy Centers and Guided Reading, oh, my!
We made these adorable walruses from my Arctic Animals unit today. I love how they all turned out so unique. Our penguins are still fishing on our bulletin board so the herd of walruses won't be hung up until next week when we use them to decorate our polar bears and walruses venn diagram. I will post a pic next week when they are all hanging. So, I've had some questions about how I do Literacy Centers. This is a picture of my Literacy Center board. Math Workshop
Doesn't it drive you crazy when a casual conversation with a friend ends up being something you obsess over? Anywhoooo, Deedee and I were discussing the fact that we weren't pleased with how our math block flowed. So, after many conversations we decided to create Math Workshop ... continue reading...
