Digital Student Center Activities for kindergarten and first-grade classrooms. These paper saving math and literacy skills centers, with response worksheets, will be a classroom favorite.
Teachers prep a TON when it comes to student centers in the classroom. We like activities that allow students to work independently(well as independently as our sweet babies are capable of). We LOVE having no prep activities so we can run to the bathroom just once during our day! I’ve got just the thing for you! Digital student center activities are a great way to infuse technology into your classroom all while practicing math and literacy skills! The best part is that it is NO PREP! Just upload the Powerpoints to Google Slides, print the response sheets, and the students are ready to start learning!
Here are some of the Digital Student Center activities in action!
ELA Digital Student Center Activities
This student is clapping out syllables.
She is practicing word families.
This can be a challenge at the beginning of the year – matching capital and lowercase letters.
Students can count words in a sentence.
This student is identifying rhyming words.
Math Digital Student Center Activities
Students find the matching shape.
Students practice graphing the number of objects.
Here are students working in a small group with a larger device. This could be an option for a group of students who may need some additional support from a teaching assistant or a parent volunteer. He/she could lead them through this center activity and give assistance where needed.
Students absolutely love using these digital centers in the classroom! Here is a video from my friend, Elizabeth from The Kinderhearted Classroom with a little more about these great centers and how to use them in your classroom.
We’ve created digital center activities for the ENTIRE year for both kindergarten and first grade! Click below to get these amazing digital centers for your classroom!

I am interested in purchasing the 2nd grade Engaging Readers. Do you have a scope and sequence for the year. I am looking to find the books, phonics and grammar skills covered for each month so that I can compare it to what we are currently using.
Thanks!
Hi Meg!
I know I have talked to a few people about this over the last few weeks and I apologize if I haven’t gotten back to you. If you still need this information, can you contact Deedee? She’s working on the list.
