By now you have heard about THE sale of the year!
If you are impatient (like me) you can get a 20% discount on EVERYTHING in my store starting today (Monday)!
TpT’s sale officially starts on Tuesday.
Now, I like a plan of attack. Here are my plans as the sale approaches:
1. Look at my past purchases. Have I left feedback on these? I love those points! Sometimes the TpT system slows down on big sale days, so I want to get those feedbacks in! I want to rack-up those beautiful points and turn them into purchasing power! I am freely admitting that I don’t NEED anymore clip art… but I always WANT more clip art!
This is also a great time to go back to those sellers and see what other treasures they have in their store.
2. I move my items from my “Wishlist” over to my “Cart.” What better time to purchase them. They are on SALE!! I tell myself I’m not only spending money I’m SAVING money! Ha!
3. Think ahead… As I think about my classroom instruction, what things will I want to implement for next year. This is a great time to be reflective!
It is easier to “Keep Calm and Shop On” when you have a plan!UPDATES and END OF THE YEAR MEMORY BOOK

This week we will start working on our SURFING THROUGH THE YEAR end of the year memory book. Here are some of the pictures from last year.
We made this super simple, cutie patootie Surfboard craftivity and writing project to display for our Pirates and Parents Open House. They turned out so stinkin’ cute!

This year I learned how to….
be a kid that is smart.
speak like a pirate.
read to my teacher.
These are my friends.
We like to…
play hide and seek.
(Notice that Maci is it! I love the details in this illustration).
play on the monkey bars.
This is what my teachers look like.
My teachers are…
gorgeous.
so sweet.
the best teachers in the world.
My favorite thing I learned about this year is…
pigs!
I learned that if you don’t cook it right you will get killed by it.
(My word this one cracked me up!!! When we were learning about sharks we read that more people get killed by pigs than sharks. We scratched our heads and said, “HUH?” so of course we had to google it and find out. We found out that more people die from eating pork that wasn’t cooked properly than from a shark attack. OH! Why didn’t the book just say that! We were picturing Pigs that attack! 🙂
pigs.
I learned that they roll in the mud to cool off.
This packet also includes a monthly writing sample if you want to use these surfing books to show your kid’s writing growth as they surfed through the year!
Note: The packet has two versions for the teacher page. Teachers (for classrooms that have a teacher and a parapro) and Teacher (for classrooms that only have one poor teacher who has to do everything on her own!)
